| Now there are some who still claim crouch bugging was a mishap of samp developers, and quick reload a flaw in the original gta games, but when Rockstar released their new baby that was meant to blow all other relative games to ashes you could imagine they had in mind to correct all bugs in previous games, if of course they were flaws. Just went tested GTA IV on XBOX360. What a surprise, press Crouch after shooting, it breaks animation and allows to shoot another bullet quicker. The quicker you press the sequences of fire crouch move crouch fire etc, the faster you shoot. Quick reload test, not so conclusive. Reload does work by switching weapons, but when returning to reloaded weapon the animation slows the process down. So I use the "crouch bug" to accelerate that, and it works for certain weapons, not the M4, but MP5 fine! What about sawnoff shotties you may ask? Well this may come as a shock too, but there are no running weapons in GTA IV. You can just about move around with weapons, and tap the running button to move faster, but the view remains almost FPS and is difficult to do what you'd want to do from experience of previous games. But of course GTAIV has alot more to offer that not having running weapons compensates. The duck and cover button behind any object, to aim at victim from safe place before shooting, or instinctively aim for enemy beyond wall, fence, car, barrel by shooting without really exposing vital body parts, all this brings GTA to a new level, closing in on what Rockstar is trying to save for last, virtual reality. Really virtual reality. The faces in IV were intentionally made to not be too human, so GTA V has something to offer and will sell when every person walking down the street will be so human you'll fall in love, or stop your serial killer hobby to rejoice in GTAV mass murder. So no running weps. This may be part of the downloadable content, along with new city map and stories, but who knows. I still miss the YAKUZA cars that Liberty City II does not expose. | |
